Residential Plumbing Service Tech

Our Plumbing Technicians act as trusted advisors—combining technical expertise with strong communication skills to provide homeowners with solutions that improve safety, reliability, water quality, efficiency, and overall system performance.

The ideal candidate is motivated, professional, and committed to delivering a world-class customer experience while identifying opportunities to help customers protect and improve their homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and service residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
  • Perform plumbing inspections, maintenance services, and system evaluations in accordance with company standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair water heaters, tankless water heaters, water lines, drain systems, sewer systems, fixtures, shut-off valves, pressure-reducing valves, and related plumbing components
  • Perform drain cleaning, leak detection, grinder pump service, water quality system service, and general plumbing repairs
  • Present repair, replacement, and upgrade options clearly and professionally to homeowners
  • Build trust with customers through education, transparency, and solution-based recommendations
  • Accurately document all work performed using ServiceTitan software
  • Maintain proper inventory, organization, and cleanliness of service vehicle
  • Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
  • Participate in ongoing technical, sales, and leadership training
  • Deliver a consistent 5-star customer experience
  • Support company membership programs through thorough inspections and customer education
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company with integrity at all times

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of residential plumbing service experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience servicing residential plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Ability to communicate technical information in a way homeowners can easily understand
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software is a plus
  • Texas Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master Plumbing License preferred (or ability to obtain licensing requirements as applicable)

Data Entry and Purchasing Assistant

This entry-level position supports the accounting and operations teams by accurately entering vendor invoices into QuickBooks and issuing purchase orders when requested by field technicians.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Verifying invoice and purchase-order information for accuracy
  • Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders and job numbers
  • Maintaining organized digital records and supporting documents
  • Following up on missing receipts, job details, or approvals
  • Assisting with basic vendor-account reconciliation
  • Identifying and reporting duplicate invoices or pricing discrepancies
  • Supporting other routine data-entry and administrative tasks

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable with computers, and able to enter information accurately while responding promptly to technician requests.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year


Residential Service Plumber

This is not new construction, install-only, or property maintenance work.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot residential plumbing issues
  • Communicate findings and solutions professionally with homeowners
  • Perform residential service and repair including fixtures, water heaters, leak detection, and sewer blockages
  • Identify and resolve drainage and sewage issues
  • Ensure all work meets residential plumbing codes and safety standards
  • Complete service documentation and invoices accurately
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and job sites to professional standards
  • Adapt to updated processes, tools, and service expectations as the company grows

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in residential plumbing service and repair
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Current Tradesman or Journeyman Plumbing License
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Texas HB 660
  • Professional appearance, good hygiene, and strong customer communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Openness to feedback, training, and continuous improvement

HVAC Service Tech

Lantz Home Services is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. This role is focused on residential service and repair in single-family homes. We are looking for a professional electrician who can confidently diagnose electrical issues, communicate clearly with homeowners, and work independently in the field.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues
  • Communicate findings and solutions clearly and professionally with homeowners
  • Perform residential electrical service and repair work
  • Install and service electrical systems, panels, circuits, lighting, and related components
  • Install and service whole-home generators and associated systems
  • Ensure all work meets residential electrical code and safety standards

What We’re Looking For
